Coffee Grounds Recycling

Total Waste Solutions Coffee Grounds Recycling

Coffee grounds recycling is an ideal solution for any organisation consuming high quantities of fresh coffee. We will collect your waste coffee grounds and take these to bio-bean who have the innovative technology to produce bio-fuel pellets from the residual oils contained in the coffee waste, with the energy source powering industrial bio-mass boilers.

1.8 million tonnes of carbon emissions are generated every year in the UK by the 500,000 tonnes of spent coffee we dispose of. By putting segregated coffee grounds through a highly specialised treatment process its power as a fuel can be used, as a renewable energy source, aiding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and achieving greater sustainability. Recycled coffee waste can also be transformed into valuable consumer products, such as coffee logs for burning in multi-fuel stoves and domestic wood burners.

  • Collections are scheduled bespoke to your individual needs
  • Waste coffee grounds are regenerated into bio-fuel pellets
  • Beneficial in reducing your carbon footprint
