Food Recycling
We offer food waste recycling collections which can be adjusted to fit your business needs..
On collection, food waste is then transported to a local recycling centre, where this will be processed as anaerobic digestion (AD) for conversion into biogas or liquid bio-fertiliser. Biogas produces renewable electricity whilst nutrient rich bio-fertiliser is spread onto farms local to the AD plant, generating healthy growth and the potential for a higher crop yield. The use of organic fertilisers produced from waste food products is highly beneficial for both the environment and the ecosystems within the adjoining water sources.
- We provide lined food bin collections that keep your bin clean and hygienic with additional bin washing provided as required. Scheduled collections are tailored to your individual requirements
- Food waste is converted into bio-fertiliser or renewable energy as biogas
- Our selection of food recycling bins are available to suit every business operation
